Screenshots of Rami

  • Rami in its Rummy 51 variant, four players and the match at 218 to 140: 96 points are already laid down on your side, nineteen cards are left in the stock, and the buttons read Lay and Discard.
  • Rami in Rummy 51 early in a hand, the match still at 0: forty-two cards remain in the stock, you have laid 40 points against Sasha's 21, and eight cards are still in hand.
  • Rami with three cards lifted out of the hand into a gold-edged tray — the nine and ten of diamonds and the eight of hearts — and a round mark showing where the finger pressed. Cards are picked before they are laid, one tap at a time.
  • Rami in Gin Rummy, the two-handed variant: the match stands at 62 to 48, twenty-six cards are left in the stock, and a line under it spells the rule out — Knock <= 10, Gin = 0. The buttons change to Discard and Knock.
  • Rami in Canasta, played in teams: Us 1820 against Them 1310, a joker stands in the run of fives, the side panel notes that one canasta is still required, and a prompt asks May I go out?

Understanding the game

Rami rules

The seven variants

In Rummy 40 and Rummy 51, the opening meld must reach 40 or 51 points; Rummy 51 requires a pure run with no joker, while one joker is allowed in other opening melds. Gin Rummy is for two players, and Canasta is team play. Buraco Aberto allows runs only. Buraco FIBUR 2026 also allows same-rank sets and scores a semi-clean burraco at 150 points; the app’s free-play match targets 3000, while official FIBUR tournaments use fixed deals and Victory Points. Samba supports up to six players.
